Description

The HIVE Mini is a cage of stone on a stainless frame, and almost all of what you see is rock. The stones are held in an open basket with a pre-installed air tunnel drawing heat up through the middle. It is built for water as an element, bringing the tradition of Finnish loyly into a highly modern design.

On a HIVE Mini, the stones are not hidden inside a casing, they are the product. The shape and sizing also navigate how the sauna itself behaves. The round shape of HUUM rocks were specifically designed so that the inner layers and every level of stone gets saturated with water, creating a subtle, consistent source of steam as it makes its way through every stone.

HUUM recommends getting a mix of both sizes, to ensure that the heater is filled evenly with no gaps. For the top of the basket: stack a dense layer, then add small stones to complete the fill.

The UKU control and HUUM stones are required for use.

Installation & Delivery

Control: requires a HUUM UKU controller

Stones: 330 lbs of 5 to 10cm stone, ten boxes of HUUM Stones 24

Electrical: 240V, single phase, 25 amps. Dedicated hardwired circuit required.

Power supply conductors must be rated to a minimum of 90 degrees C.
That is a required condition of the SGS certification.

Please have a licensed electrician confirm your setup before installation.

Delivery is curbside: on a pallet, by freight carrier. Before we ship, we'll call to confirm product details and required accessories, your address, and that a delivery truck can safely reach the drop site.
