Warranty

Every product we carry is backed by the manufacturer's warranty, in writing. We only carry brands that stand behind their work, because a sauna should be something you pass down, not something you replace.

What's covered

Warranty terms vary by manufacturer and model and are listed on each product page. In general, manufacturer warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

What's not covered

Normal wear, damage from improper installation or maintenance, and unauthorized modifications are typically not covered. For outdoor saunas, the customer is responsible for a level foundation and proper anchoring; damage from wind or storms when a unit is not correctly anchored is not covered. Natural characteristics of real wood, such as pitch pockets in spruce, are normal and not grounds for return.

Making a claim

If you believe your product has a defect, email hello@saunastead.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos. As your authorized dealer, we'll help coordinate your claim with the manufacturer and stay with you until it's resolved.

Authorized dealer

Saunastead is an authorized dealer, not the manufacturer. Buying from an authorized dealer is what keeps your manufacturer warranty fully valid, one more reason it pays to buy from a real, approved seller.
